AOP Health is the European pioneer for integrated therapies for rare diseases and in critical care. To enhance our team in Vienna we are looking for an Innovation and Brand Manager (f/m/d).
In this role, you will collaborate across teams to evaluate inventions, assess IP potential, and mitigate risks while fostering innovation. Your expertise in patent analyses and conflict resolution will help shape the company’s IP strategy and drive awareness across global brand units.
What Your Day To Day Will Look Like
- Being part of cross functional teams cooperating with R&D and GTAs/GBUs
- Analyze and evaluate Inventions and Invention Disclosures within the company
- Monitoring the development of projects and evaluation of product ideas on their potential for IP
- Identify, highlight and communicate risks and foster solution-oriented approach on extension of indications for existing and new products
- Analyze and communicate the outcome of prior-art, patent and patentability searches and Freedom-to-Operate analyses
- Support resolving potential patent conflicts including proceedings against third party rights
- Increase awareness for IP, particularly for new possibilities and risks
- Communication and knowledge sharing of innovation and IP as team member of the Global Brand Units
Your Qualifications and Experience
- Master’s degree in a scientific field relevant to pharmaceuticals, life sciences or biotechnology preferred
- Experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology or healthcare industry, particularly with R&D projects, preferably minimum 3 years
- Experience with intellectual property rights, particularly with novelty and inventive step analysis
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and German language with experience presenting and concisely communicating complex information to all levels of an organization
- Quick comprehension of complex matter, open minded personality and the ability to “think outside of the box”
- Independent, solution-oriented and structured way of working and ability to work in a team

- Gross monthly salary provided for this function is a minimum of EUR 3.800.- based on full-time employment (38,5h/week). Any potential overpayment depends on professional experience and qualifications.
